Condominium Management

The Land Registry Department is responsible for the administration of condominiums in Barbados.

In order to establish a condominium, a Condominium Declaration must be filed at the Land Registry in accordance with the Condominium Act, Chapter 224A of the Laws of Barbados.

Where a condominium has been established, a multi-unit building is erected on a parcel of land for internal subdivision. Each individual unit in the building can be owned separately and distinctly with each unit having access to various amenities, fixtures, installations, rights and appurtenances.
